HARVEY GUNTRIP, CHAIRMAN
Harvey Guntrip has been a governor at Hadlow College since 1998 and was elected Chairman of the Corporation in 2003. Harvey is an ex-Hadlow National Diploma in Horticulture student. He has a wide range of experience in land-based and related industries and has worked in horticulture and agriculture in Europe and the USA. Until recently, he worked with both DEFRA and SEEDA in a range of land-based and rural industry projects. Harvey is recognised as a regional expert in renewable energy and fuel supply. Currently Director of a large Community Interest Company which serves to provide employment and training for disadvantaged adults and delivers an environmental benefit for the UK, Harvey is a member of the National Farmers Union (NFU) and a policy adviser to a range of local and regional business sectors.
