Higher Education

There is still time to apply for courses starting in September 2009.  You may still be able to apply through UCAS or alternatively you can apply direct to the University of Greenwich.

Applying through UCAS

All full-time students can apply through UCAS, the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service. It is no longer possible to make your application to UCAS on a paper form; applications must be made online through UCAS Apply.

To use UCAS Apply you must first register with the system at www.ucas.com/apply.

If you are applying through a school or college you need to obtain a "buzzword" from your institution. When you have entered your application information, you will need to send your application to your referee. Your referee then adds the reference, checks and approves your application and sends the completed application to UCAS on your behalf.

If you are not applying through a school or college, you will be required to answer a set of eligibility questions before you can start your application. To complete your application, you will also need to supply a reference from someone who knows you well enough to write about you and state if you are suitable for higher education.

Applications do not need to be completed in one go. You will be able to use your username and password to log on to your application form and update it as many times as you need. You will not be able to add more information to your application form when it has been completed and sent. Payment of the application fee to UCAS can be made with a credit or debit card.

Once your application has been sent to UCAS, completed and with a reference, it will then be sent on to your chosen universities and colleges for consideration.

Applying direct

Hadlow College, like many insitutions, also considers direct applications from students.  If you would like to apply in this way, please complete either the University of Greenwich on-line application form, download the University of Greenwich application form or phone our Admissions Office on 0500 551434.

When to apply

Hadlow College, in partnership with the University of Greenwich, considers all applications whilst places are still available.

If you meet the entry requirements you will be invited to Hadlow College for an interview.

EU and overseas students

Applications from EU students should be made as described above. If you require information about how your qualifications equate with our entry requirements please contact the University of Greenwich Enquiry Unit on +44 (0)20 8331 8590 or visit the National Recognition Information Centre by logging onto www.naric.org.uk

Overseas students may also apply directly to the University of Greenwich, using the University of Greenwich online application form.

Part-time students

Part-time students can apply directly to Hadlow College using the University of Greenwich application form.

There is no closing date for part-time applications, however, prospective students are still advised to apply as early as possible and not to wait for examination results.
