Education Officer
Involved in raising public awareness of wildlife. An education officer deals with all levels of experience from school groups to teaching professional courses. The job involves designing leaflets, event management and designing interpretation for the public.
Countryside Ranger
In charge of a nature reserve or country park, this job involves safeguarding and developing the habitats on your site whilst limiting the impact of any leisure activities. This job requires a balance of excellent communication skills with practical land based knowledge.
Ecological Consultant
Working for local authorities or planning companies, an ecological consultant will be responsible for surveying a range of species and habitats and developing management plans.
