Formerly known as an NVQ, this course is suitable for students with industry experience who are employed in a supervisory capacity. You will gain the skills necessary to be able to control and restrain animals whilst maintaining good health, safety and security and learn how to implement and monitor plans for health and well being of animals as well as train animals to achieve specific objectives. Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor.
Entry Requirements Students must be employed or in a position of responsibility within the industry. You will undertake an initial assessment to determine your starting level.
