Students benefit from a wide range of links with commercial nurseries, research institutes, organic producers, public and privately owned gardens as well as exposure to the retail world through our onsite garden centre. The College is also a member of the Royal Horticultural Society; NCCPG and the Hardy Plant Society.
Building on the skills which have been developed at the previous level, this course will help students maximise their potential within this specialist sector. You will gain basic management and supervisory skills sufficient to help you obtain or consolidate a management position. Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor.
Entry Requirements Diploma in Work-Based Horticulture (Level 2) or equivalent is desirable. Students must be in a position of responsibility within the industry.
