Students benefit from a wide range of links with commercial nurseries, research institutes, organic producers, public and privately owned gardens as well as exposure to the retail world through our onsite garden centre. The College is also a member of the Royal Horticultural Society; NCCPG and the Hardy Plant Society.
Providing students with an introductory knowledge and practical skills in plant propagation and production, this programme covers a variety of disciplines. You will learn about fruit, vegatable, nursery stocks and glass house crops, understand the science of growing so as to maximise production and gain valuable business skills.
Entry Requirements 80 UCAS points: 1 A level at Grade C or above or National Diploma at PPM or equivalent supported by GCSEs. Life experiences will be taken into consideration.
