The Arts and Craft Movement and its Gardens | Listen to Stephen Harmer talking about ‘Arts and Crafts’ movement related to gardens. Stephen will discuss this movement and look at the gardens associated with it and of course discuss the exponents of the style.
Stephen will look at how the ‘Arts and crafts’ movement spread to Europe and even America and how and why this new style came about, what social, economic and political factors were the catalyst for this change from the eclectic Victorian period of garden design.

You'll be able to meet our llamas, pigs and goats, tour the animal management unit, take part in a range of sports activities, sample local produce at the Produced in Kent Farmers' Market and have fun on a tractor ride (weather permitting).
