Hellebore Day Experience the National Collection of Hellebores at Broadview Gardens. Entry is free but, to get the most from your visit, we recommend joining one of the informative tours taking place at either 11:00am or 2:00pm. These last approximately 1 hour and cost £3.00 per person. Pre-booking is recommended with tickets purchased from Broadview Garden Centre or by calling 01732 853211.
22 February 2010 Hadlow Lecture Demonstration - Sharon Hunt Sharon Hunt is ranked among the top 50 eventers in the world. In the 2008 Olympics, Sharon - aboard Tanker's Town - was part of an incredibly talented team that secured a bronze medal. Sharon currently competes on ten horses at all levels, including; the World Equestrian Games; Burleigh and Badminton. Sharon will be bringing three of her current rides for the evening. 7 March 2010 Hadlow Unaffiliated Show Jumping All classes will be run in two phase format. If riders complete a clear round, they will proceed directly to a timed jump off round. Entry fees are £8.00 per class, Hadlow College students £5.00 per class. All classes are run in accordance with BSJA rules. Riders incurring more than one disobedience anywhere on the course will be eliminated. For more information please call 0500 551434.

You'll be able to meet our llamas, pigs and goats, tour the animal management unit and have fun on a tractor ride (weather permitting) as well as have your photo taken with your favourite lamb. 15 March 2010 Hadlow Lecture Demonstration - Peter Maddison-Greenwell International Dressage trainer Peter Maddison-Greenwell and the Spanish stallions of El Caballo de Espana. An insightful look at where dressage came from and how it works. From the basics right up through to the pirouettes, piaffes and passages. 31 March 2010 Hadlow Horticulture talk by Roy Lancaster OBE Roy Lancaster OBE became involved in plants at a young age and this interest has taken him around the world. He has been a member of the RHS for almost 40 years, is the President of the Hardy Plant Society and a Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture. Join Roy for this informative insight into his travels in China – the mother of all gardens – and benefit from his unique look at the plants of this largely undiscovered country. As part of the evening you will be able to purchase copies of his books, and also get your own copies signed by Roy. Drinks Reception: 6:30pm, Broadview Tearoom. Talk: 7:30pm, Pym Hall. 26 April 2010 Hadlow Lecture Demonstration - William Funnell Willism Funnell is a world-renowned show jumping rider with over 20 years experience at the top of his sport. He has won over 20 international titles and has represented his country all over the world at the highest levels. He recently won his third Hickstead Derbuy with Cortaflex Modriaan, adding the 2009 title to his previous wins in 2008 and 2006. The evening will consist of William demonstrating training methods and jumping exercises with his own horses, from novice through to advanced. Tickets cost £20 in advance and £25 on the night.
