The cost of changing your career

It's not as much as you may think...

Changing career need not be expensive. Through the University of Greenwich we have one of the lowest tuition fees in the country and are committed to providing accessible education whatever your circumstances.

For example, all full-time undergraduate students will not have to pay any fees before starting their course or whilst they're studying.

What is more, because you can defer the fees through a fee loan from the Student Loan Company, you will not need to pay your fees back until you're earning more than £15,000 a year.

Help is at hand. We offer flexible payment plus a range of scholarships and bursaries

In addition to the standard maintenance loans and grants which are available through Student Finance England Hadlow College offers:

Greenwich partner college bursary

Applicable to all University of Greenwich full honours degrees (BA/BSc), a fee discount of £500 a year for a maximum of three years is available to all UK students who qualify for means tested government funded grants. This bursary does not have to be repaid and is in addition to any other grants you may receive

Scholarships

A range of scholarships are offered to students who demonstrate academic excellence in their chosen subject. These scholarships vary from an outstanding work placement opportunity (for example 4-6 weeks at Great Dixter) through to a cash sum of £1,000 which can be put towards the cost of your course.

Flexible payments

Should you not receive a tuition fee loan, we are able to offer different forms of payment depending on your circumstances. Fees can either be paid in full on registration (for which you will receive a discount), or paid in two equal halves (one half in September, the other in January).
