A student who took the next step at Hadlow College

After completing my National Certificate in Agriculture last year I was still keen to learn more, and therefore enrolled onto a higher education programme.

Hadlow is a really friendly place to study. You get all the benefits of belonging to a close knit community whilst also having access to the range of facilities that the University of Greenwich possesses. The lecturers are helpful and, because they’ve come from industry, the knowledge they’ve got is based around their experiences, rather than purely academic. You also gain a lot of practical experiences on the College farm which will be essential to my future career.

The career options are quite broad and, because it’s an international agriculture programme, I am not limited to just working in the UK. At the moment I am interested in the veterinary matters surrounding farm animals, although I know this is just one of a number of possible routes..

All in all I’m really enjoying my time at Hadlow and would recommend it to anyone.
