New Sustainable Centre Opens at Hadlow
The Rural Regeneration Centre at Hadlow College was officially opened yesterday (4th March 2010) with a highly successful conference and opening ceremony.
The building, one of the first of its kind, is constructed out of pre-fabricated materials and it is aimed to be completely carbon neutral. Through a number of sustainable features, such as a ground source heat pump, green roof and timber framed walls it is air tight and highly energy efficient. It is likely to be the first registered PassivHaus education building in the UK.
