The Student's View...
Wendy Turner
National Award in Floristry

I have always been interested in floristry and dreamed of turning this love into a career. Now my family has grown up I have got the opportunity to train and ultimately fulfil this ambition.

Hadlow College has always had such a good reputation. The course is well structured so that there is a balance between the theory and practical aspects, the facilities are great and the tutors are really supportive. We also cover a lot more than some floristry courses, for example we are taught how to care for, and design with, house plants such as orchids and palm trees.

I’m really pleased to be part of Hadlow College, especially given its name within the industry, and would definitely recommend it to a friend. Its professional outlook, together with the varied nature of the course, means that although it is hard work, it is also a lot of fun.

The Department's View...
Studying floristry at Hadlow could be one of the best decisions you’ll ever make. The skills you learn in your time with us could be the start of a brand new career.

Your Future Career...
Upon completing your qualification you will be fully prepared for a career as a florist, flower buyer or demonstrator. You may also wish to study further by enrolling on one of our higher education programmes.
