Providing an opportunity for experienced/part-qualified florists to demonstrate their skills and understanding, graduates will be equipped with the necessary expertise to enter the industry as managers or senior florists.

This practical prgramme examines a range of disciplines from technical floristry skills through to successful marketing, promotion and business practices, thereby giving you a fully rounded appreciation of the challenges you may face in commercial floristry.

Entry Requirements

A Level 3 qualification in Floristry or equivalent or a minimum of 5 years relevant industry experience.

Additional Experience
Students should be currently employed or in a work placement for at least 1 day per week for the duration of the course.

Assessment Method
Three cross-unit assignments as well as two examinations - one theory and one practical - which are mixed by external examiners from the Society of Floristry

Progression Routes
Successful students can progress to the Master Diploma (Level 5) and are also well equipped to gain high level employment within the industry, set up their own floristry business or become a buyer for a large multiple chain.

Specialist Equipment Needed
Students will need to provide their own flowers, a fully equipped work box and floristry sundries.
