- 170 hectare fully functioning commercial farm with an additional 50 hectares of grazing land.
- 200 hectares of land for arable teaching purposes on a neighbouring farm
- 140 cow award-winning dairy herd and fully functioning dairy

Industry Links
Students benefit from close ties with regional aocieties and farming clubs as well as organisations such as the National Farmers' Union (NFU), the Young Farmers, DEFRA, and RABDF. In addition, students are encouraged to attend relevant industry conferences and exhibitions.
Aimed at either smallerholders or people who work on sheep, beef, dairy and arable farms, this course was formerly known as an NVQ and provides a solid foundation in the theory behind mixed farming, as well as practical training in the range of skills associated with livestock and crops.Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor.
Entry Requirements Students must be employed or in a 1 year work placement within the industry.
