- 170 hectare fully functioning commercial farm with an additional 50 hectares of grazing land.
- 200 hectares of land for arable teaching purposes on a neighbouring farm
- 140 cow award-winning dairy herd and fully functioning dairy

Industry Links
Students benefit from close ties with regional aocieties and farming clubs as well as organisations such as the National Farmers' Union (NFU), the Young Farmers, DEFRA, and RABDF. In addition, students are encouraged to attend relevant industry conferences and exhibitions.
Formerly known as an NVQ, this course builds on the previous level and is aimed at those students who are employed in the industry on a full-time basis who wish to study part-time. You will gain a variety of practical skills and benefit from training on the principles involved in mixed farming. Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor.
Entry Requirements Diploma in Work-Based Agriculture (Level 2) or equivalent is desirable. Students must be in a position of responsibility within the industry.
