  • 170 hectare fully functioning commercial farm with an additional 50 hectares of grazing land.
  • 200 hectares of land for arable teaching purposes on a neighbouring farm

Students benefit from close ties with regional aocieties and farming clubs as well as organisations such as the National Farmers' Union (NFU), the Young Farmers, DEFRA, and RABDF.  In addition, students are encouraged to attend relevant industry conferences and exhibitions.

More about Agriculture & Sustainability faculty

Formerly known as an NVQ, this course is aimed at those students who are working either on a poultry farm or in a hatchery. Through this qualification you will gain the essential skills needed to progress in the industry, as well as a solid understanding of the welfare issues surrounding poultry production. Training will take place in the workplace at a suitable time arranged with the assessor. Further information is available in our full-time prospectus.
