The cost of studying in the UK
Fees for international students are estimated at £9,850 per year and are subject to an annual review. Should you accept your place and wish to receive a letter from the University to assist your visa application you will be charged a £2,500 deposit. More information on the fees is available from the University of Greenwich.
In addition, we estimate that you will need approximately £8,000 per academic year in addition to your tuition fees to cover the cost of accommodation, food, books and entertainment.
Accommodation
On-site accommodation is offered on a half-board basis and is currently £105 per week. All residential students pay a £210 deposit which is refundable at the end of the year subject to terms and conditions (e.g. the room being handed back in the condition it was let in, no additional room key charges etc.)
Additional fees
Some courses have additional costs associated with them (for example trip funds, clothing and materials), and you may need to purchase some specialist equipment for certain courses. Majority of this will be listed along with the course, however full details are available through the Admissions Office.
In addition, the following fees apply:
- Student identity card: £15 (compulsory)
- NUS card: £11 (optional)
- Events Card: £20 (optional)
The Events Card contributes towards events at the College Bar and Common Rooms, entitling holders to discounted entry to these events as well as the student Balls. The fee also includes membership to the Wellness Hub and a contribution to the cost of equipment and other student related activities.
