The Students' Association

Acting as the focal point of student life and social hub of the College, the Students' Association exists to ensure that:

  • Your views are listened to through forums and an annual conference
  • Recreational needs are met as closely as possible
  • The campus is welcoming to all; celebrating equality and diversity through charitable and promotional events
  • All students know how to stay safe and healthy, contribute to the local community, are financially secure and experience enjoyment and achievement in all they do

The range of entertainment varies each year depending on the interests of the students. Successful events have included: film nights; quiz nights; karaoke; discos and live music in the bar. Other regular features are the Christmas Ball, Summer Ball, Summer BBQ and RAG week.

Membership of the Students' Association is open to all students  who are enrolled at the College.  This membership allows you access to all events and social activities as well as take advantage of the sports facilities, including our campus gym - the Wellness Hub.

Elections to the Students' Association Executive Committee are held every October with all members invited to stand for election, or vote. If elected, you will be part of a team which regularly meets with College staff to discuss issues important to the wider student population.
