Dr. Adebayo Asolo
Dr. Adebayo Asolo has been teaching on our range of Animal Management courses and the International Agriculture degree programmes for 10 years. With broad-based veterinary experience of about 3 decades in domestic pets, livestock/poultry and polo horses, he brings an unrivalled range of industry experience with his impressive CV, including time spent in Africa working with organisations such as Pfizer Animal Health Pharmaceuticals, Livestock Feeds PLC and the Lagos Polo Club. He has worked extensively as veterinary consultant to the government and various large livestock organisations in Africa, caring for over a million poultry birds and thousands of large animals, including ruminants, pigs and rabbits. He has also spent time working in an agricultural production/marketing establishment in the United Kingdom.
During his working career, Ade has found the time to qualify as a barrister and solicitor, and was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006, working for a time in a highbrow legal firm as a barrister, before moving back into veterinary and animal care.
Outside of the College, Ade continues to work as an expert veterinarian and law adviser and is an ordained church minister. He has authored and published over twenty books. With his multidisciplinary skills and talents, Ade is a member of the Nigerian Medical Veterinary Association (NVMA), Poultry Association of Nigeria (PAN) and Nigeria Bar Association (NBA).
