(Equine) Husbandry and Welfare

Greenwich Campus

Start Date

This two-day course is aimed at participants with some experience of looking after horses. It is an ideal progression from the one-day Introduction to Horse Care Course. Participants will be introduced to a range of equine topics such as grooming, feeding and tacking up which will give them a good understanding of horse welfare and husbandry practices. All sessions are based practically, on the yard, with structured, safe, hands-on delivery by qualified experienced staff. You will also learn how to exercise horses on the lunge.

Please note that all programme specifications and course modules are subject to annual change.
