This three-day course is designed to build on the one-day introduction to hydrotherapy course. The course aims to provide students with working information on the operations and day to day maintenance of equipment in the hydrotherapy centre, health and safety, handling techniques, common injuries and ailments, basic anatomy and physiology, laws and legislation and the introduction to writing of rehabilitation programmes for common injuries and ailments.

It is anticipated that the course will appeal to students who have a keen interest in equine rehabilitation and therapy, in particular those who may already be completing a formal qualification in equine rehabilitation and therapy. The course would also be suitable for professionals within the industry wanting to develop skills and knowledge based on the hydrotherapy centre.
