Hadlow Campus

Monitoring body condition in sheep is an important management tool for all flock owners and this course is for those wishing to acquire and develop their practical husbandry skills. Ewe and ram body condition at specific times during the production cycle has a significant impact on performance and productivity of both ewes and rams. Making informed decisions about grazing management, supplementary feeding and routine care of the flock requires the quality of information that is provided by the effective monitoring of sheep body condition.
