Wildlife & Conservation Management (Countryside)

By studying at Hadlow College, you can become part of an industry which is focused on the conservation and restoration of British wildlife, its habitats and the surrounding countryside.

Our wildlife and conservation courses, which includes Landscape Management and countryside management, use our 1,000 acre estate to give you the real-life practical skills you will need for relevant employment within the broad scope of the industry. We will cover the hard skills of the industry such as estate skills, woodland management, the sciences and the life skills that employers look for. Anyone looking to break into this wide and diverse industry will be well prepared through these courses, to both get ahead and broaden their own horizons on what they could do for a career.

Ultimately, upon finishing your course at Hadlow College, your career could include a range of different opportunities, working for organisations as varied as private estates through to local government, charities and the voluntary sector e.g. Rangers, ecological consultants field surveying and estate manager.
