Applying for a full-time further education course at Hadlow College is easy, and we're here to help you every step of the way.
All courses on the website can be applied for online. Simply click on the 'Apply Now' button and complete your details. Once you have submitted your application, you will be invited in for an interview.
We'll contact you by email or letter to confirm that we have received your application (normally within ten working days). Our Admissions team will then arrange an interview with a relevant member of staff. This gives you the chance to ask questions and make sure the course is right for you, as well as helping us to place you on the right course. We'll let you know the date for your interview as soon as possible. We get a lot of applications, so don't worry if it takes some time for your interview to be arranged.
You'll receive a letter from our Admissions team telling you which course we can offer you. This may be conditional on you achieving certain grades in your exams (if you haven't yet taken them). All places are subject to a four-week review period, when your tutor will monitor your progress and work to ensure you're on the right course.
After You've Been Offered a Place
You should send us the form enclosed with your offer letter to confirm whether or not you want to accept the place offered. If we don't hear back from you within a set time, we may offer your place to someone else.
You'll receive enrolment details by the beginning of August. At enrolment, usually in the final week of August, you'll learn everything you need to start your course. If your exam results in August don't turn out as well as you hoped, don't panic! If they're close to the entry requirements, your original offer may stand. If not, we'll do our very best to place you on a different level course in the same subject area, or find you a suitable alternative.
