Our Canterbury campus is just a ten minute walk from Canterbury city-centre.
The site is set over 2 hectares and boasts excellent facilities including a large glass house and grounds for horticultural work, spacious animal unit with a wide range of species, a science laboratory and a number of Polly tunnels. Curriculum areas offered are full-time and part-time animal management courses from levels 1-3, floristry at level 2 and part time horticulture courses. We also offer a level 2 apprenticeship in Animal Care and Welfare.
Our students are supported by our excellent links with local employers and many guest speakers that visit the campus on an annual basis. Full time students benefit from a range of trips and study tours relevant to their course as well as a full enrichment programme run by student support services. They are also able to access sports facilities at the local Canterbury Christchurch University sports facilities and activities at highly reduced student rates. There is some free student parking on site.
The nearest bus stop to our campus is Barton Court School which is just 3 minutes walk away.
Canterbury East railway station is 20 minutes walk, and Canterbury West railway station is 25 minutes walk. Each station provides regular services to the rest of Kent and London.
