  • Status: Full Time 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year

About the role

We are looking for a Group Exams Manager to join our MIS team.

As a Group Exams Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of the exams function at our three Hadlow Group Colleges – West Kent College, Ashford College and Hadlow College.

The ideal candidate will have experience in managing an Exams operation, preferably in further education. It is essential that candidates have qualifications at Level 3 or above, and are able to demonstrate a record of managing staff, understanding a student records system, and having a full knowledge of the JCQ exam regulations. In addition, you must have Level 2, or equivalent, Literacy and Numeracy qualifications.

About the team

You will be managing a staff of eight Exams Officers led by an Exams Team Leader in Ashford and an Exams Manager in Hadlow. The Colleges run many academic and vocational courses through approximately twenty awarding organisations and assessments are run throughout the academic year. Exams teams are supported by teams of professional Invigilators.

The teams work closely with other MIS teams, who support each other at critical times such as summer exams, enrolments and Open Evenings.
