The outstanding new Visitor Centre and Kent Mining Museum at Betteshanger Park, opening 30th March 2019, is seeking a Head of Programme. The Head of Programme will have responsibility for the development, coordination and delivery of all activity and programme delivery across Betteshanger Park, responsible for the full events cycle; researching and developing original event ideas, operational event logistics, delivery, and post-event evaluation. The post holder will be adept at ensuring that the Park is fully animated and that a high quality and commercially viable programme of events and activities is in place. The post holder will play a lead role in planning the Betteshanger opening programme.
The Head of Programme is a key member of the Senior Management Team, and includes line management of the Events Assistant, Sport and Activity Manager, oversight of the operational and activities team, and co-ordination with other departments, including Communication, Development and the Kent Mining Museum.
The successful candidates will be required to undertake a Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
