Hours: 37 hours per week – 39 weeks per year - permanent

We are looking to recruit a flexible, self-motivated and committed individual as a member of our Student Support Services Team. You will be student-facing and actively participate in promoting the welfare and safeguarding of learners. As well as being able to advise students effectively on pastoral issues you will support with the administration of financial support applications, plan and run health and wellbeing activities, enrichment and learner engagement events.
The ideal candidate will have a level 3 qualification in a related field and experience of working with young people. It is essential that candidates have excellent organisational, computing, verbal and written communication skills. A willingness to be a team player, work flexible hours and have the ability to communicate effectively with a range of students in a variety of ways is also required.
Knowledge of welfare systems and a youth work qualification would be an advantage, as would experience of working in the education sector.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) and to provide proof of their right to work in the UK.
