  • What qualification will I gain?

    City & Guilds 90-Credit Diploma in Land-based Technology L3

  • Entry Requirements

    Minimum of 4 GCSEs grades 9 - 4 or equivalent (Level 2 Diploma), which must include GCSEs in English AND Maths 9 - 4 Grade or equivalent (Level 2 Functional Skills).

    You should also have a keen interest in the subject and demonstrate a commitment to the curriculum area.

  • What progression options will I have?

    Upon successful completion of the Diploma (two-year programme) you will be able to progress onto an Apprenticeship or a higher-level qualification including Foundation Degrees and or a BSc. Students also progress into employment within the industry within roles such as machinery operatives, engineering technicians and mechanical engineers.

  • What costs are involved?

    Tuition Fees: 16-18 - free 19+ Advanced Learning Loan - TBA Exam and Registration Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): TBA

  • How will I be assessed?

    Teaching is a mix of theory and practical sessions. Assessment will be via practical and theory assessments sat throughout the year programme.
