As a natural haven for staff, students, and the public, Broadview Gardens offers an array of spaces for your relaxation and enjoyment.

Designed and built by the students of Hadlow College, our selection of contemporary, traditional and aesthetic gardens stretches over an impressive 8 acres, with over 20 themes.

Featuring a variety of vegetation from seasonal flowers, to bush borders and meadows, decorative woodwork and winding walkways, there is a space of tranquillity to be discovered for everyone. Our personal favourites include the Italian Garden, The Japanese Garden, and the Rose Garden, with more additions always anticipated.

Our gardens are also notably used as a key teaching resource for students of Garden Design, Horticulture and Nursery production at the College.

Why not pick up some plants yourself? After a therapeutic tour around Broadview, feel free to wander over to the College’s weekly Pick-a-Plant Wednesday sale, where prices start at just £1. You might even be able to score some horticultural tips from our lecturers onsite! Find us next to the glasshouse on our main campus.

Access to the gardens and parking is free to the public, and we are open 7 days a week from 8:45 am - 5:15 pm.
