At NKC Hadlow College, we believe that financial circumstances should never be a barrier to education. We offer a range of financial support schemes for students studying on Further Education programmes to help with the costs associated with College life.
Student Financial Support is available for all NKC Hadlow College students to apply for. This funding can help students with contributions towards books, materials, kit, and equipment, as well as free school meals and travel expenses.
NKC Hadlow College operates a range of bursary schemes designed to support students from lower-income households with the costs of attending college. Funding is subject to Government allocations and is awarded in line with eligibility criteria and available funding.
Government guidance is update throughout the year and may affect eligibility for funding. Any updates or changes to financial support arrangements will be communicated to students and families where appropriate. Students are responsible for informing the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) of any successful funding application or financial support received, as this may affect entitlement to certain state benefits.
NKC Hadlow College reserves the right to amend financial support arrangements in response to Government guidance, funding availability, or other exceptional circumstances.
You may be eligible to apply for financial support if you are enrolled on a government-funded course and have met the household income below £28,000.
Bursary awards are assessed individually. The amount awarded may vary depending on your course, the distance you travel to college, and the number of days you attend college.
