Why Choose Hadlow?

Excellent Facilities

With investment of over £28m in resources over the past ten years, the College now offers an impressive array of practical and teaching facilities to support high quality teaching and learning.

All curriculum areas have a strong commercial aspect to them, with farm shops, a garden centre, commercial glasshouse complex, dairy, florist and an Equine Centre being just some of the business which students can gain experience in. Together with the Royal Borough of Greenwich, we have opened a state-of-the-art Equestrian Centre, which uses some of the resources from the London 2012 Olympics, and our Animal Management Centre is the largest of its kind in the UK.

Strong Links With Industry

In a competitive job market, it's not necessarily the classification of degree that is important; it's often more about the skills that you've gained whilst studying for it.

Part of your rural university experience at Hadlow College is that, as a graduate, you will have been taught by industry professionals - people who have already been where you aspire to be.

By working with our industry partners, we have included a strong job-related element in all of our degree programmes to give you the practical skills, as well as theoretical knowledge, so that - as one of our employers recently commented - you are 'instantly commercial' when you leave.

Smaller Class Sizes

As a degree student at Hadlow College, you will enjoy the friendly atmosphere of a campus university with the smaller class-sizes more common in Colleges. Your experience will include individual one-to-one meetings with your personal tutor, who is there to advise you on any problems you may be having, as well as comprehensive additional learning support should you need it.
