What made you choose Hadlow College?
I wanted to study Agricultural Engineering and wanted to have the option of staying on-site – Hadlow College offered both, so it was a no brainer.
How are you enjoying your course?
I am enjoying it very much – it is everything I signed up for and it has exceeded my expectations.
What is your favourite part of your course so far?
The practical lessons – I get to drive tractors.
Have you met any new friends on your course or in residential?
I have met so many friends – everyone is friendly which is awesome.
How were the enrichment events you took part in?
That is a good question – I have enjoyed all of them, very well organised and structured. I think my favourite was freshers – my favourite part being the bungee run.
Have you signed up to use the gym, and have you used it yet/do you intend to?
I have signed up and have been regularly using it – the facilities are amazing. My favourite machine is the rowing machine.
How are you getting on with keeping your room clean and tidy?
Ooohh, let’s not answer that one.
Have you used our restaurant facilities and what has been your favourite dish?
I have used this – my favourite was pork baguette which came with fries and coleslaw.
In your own words can you explain your thoughts on living away from home for the first time?
Surprising very enjoyable! I have not used the laundry yet so am taking all of my washing home at the weekends much to my mum’s joy. I have adjusted to living alone very easily – staff have been super helpful!
Where do you see yourself in the next five years?
I would like to be working in a well-established company repairing tractors.

Passing year one of my course – I will achieve this with the help of staff at the College!
